We are a Southern California law firm serving the Inland Empire and the surrounding counties. Our practice focuses on estate and business planning, probate, trust, conservatorship, real property, family law, and litigation. We are a two-person boutique firm with a combined over sixty years of legal experience. We are available for in-home consultation for qualifying clients. All clients receive the highest personal attention, confidentiality, and privacy.


Elizabeth McDonough Barry
Elizabeth McDonough Barry law practice specialties include estate planning, probate, and trust, law; conservatorship and guardianship matters; special needs trust creation and administration; and accountings. She also practices in the areas of business formation and management; prepares consulting agreements, leases, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, buy-sell agreements, franchise agreements, business sale documentation; provides risk management counseling; advises small businesses to nationally known corporations; counsels clients regarding business entity formation, maintenance, employee matters, and wind-up; and serves as Outside Counsel to two major banks.
Mrs. Barry served on the city council for the City of Upland, California from September 1991 through November, 1998; and served as Mayor Pro Temp for the City of Upland for two years. While on the city council, she updated municipal ordinances and initiated the Code Enforcement Task Force and served as its Chair. She rewrote the majority of ordinances with input from a citizen committee. In addition, she served as a director for the City of Upland Redevelopment Agency for seven years; and was a member of the board of directors for San Antonio Water Company and a member of the board of directors for the West End Water Company for nine years. As a member of the City of Upland Redevelopment Agency she revamped the City’s General and Specific Plans, rezoning the southeast quadrant of the city, and implementing the Historic Preservation Ordinance, while serving on the Town Center Task Force Redevelopment Project. In 1999 she received the Business Press Journal Women of Distinction Honors Award.
Mrs. Barry graduated from Western State University College of Law in 1992; and graduated from California State Polytechnic University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She is licensed to practice in all California State Courts and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mrs. Barry is a member of the California State Bar Association; and the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association. She served as president of the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association from 2002-2003. She served as President of Upland Rotary, having served two prior years as club secretary. From there, she was selected to serve as Rotary International District 5300 District Membership Chair. Shortly thereafter, she was appointed to serve as Rotary International District Governor for the 2021-2022 year. Presently, she serves as counsel for Rotary International District 5300.

Roy A. Barry
Roy A. Barry began his legal career in New York in 1988 where he practiced commercial and consumer contract law, and civil litigation until establishing a California practice in 1997. Mr. Barry has over 36 years of legal experience, and specializes in contested probate, estate, and trust matters; conservatorship, and guardianship law; accounting disputes; title and leasehold disputes; business litigation; family law, and all aspects of mediated dispute resolution.
Mr. Barry graduated from Hofstra University School of Law in 1988 and graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1985. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, with minor studies in business and French language. He is licensed to practice in all California, New York, and New Jersey state courts; and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Central District of California and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Barry is a member of the California State Bar Association (Estate Planning Probate, and Trust section; Family Law; and Litigation Sections), as well as the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association. He is a director on the board of directors of the Pomona Valley Estate Planning Council. He is a director and past president of Upland Rotary and a regular leader of Rotary District 5300’s annual Youth Leadership Awards for high school students. He is also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and has served as a past Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus Council 8238 in Yorba Linda.
